Soda Popper can be a very powerful tool when used with Facebook. Peter Spaepen shared a strategy (see Facetagging)on his blog which fits perfectly.

The one problem I’ve encountered with Soda Popper on Facebook is that Facebook grabs an image from the target site. The target site isn’t your Soda Popper link, but instead the destination URL you define (ie, the page people will end up on).
This isn’t always pretty and it isn’t always desirable. So, what you need to do is put the power of Soda Popper to work for you.
1. Create your masked link (example http://FactorXMarketing.com/go/wso1)
2. Define the landing page with the thought in mind that Facebook will pull details from that page you define (see the example below – see how Affiliate Power Strategy and not FactorXMarketing.com is highlighted)

3. AFTER you create your Facebook post THEN you can change the destination link to some other destination. And you might also want to wait until then to add any affiliate links that might apply.
Also note: This example is specific to Facebook but this is also what you want to do with any process that requires someone approving your final destination link. Submit your link with redirection to the place you want the evaluator to see – then alter it later if needed.
Of course, be careful with trying to game the system.
