Is Affiliate Marketing Dead on Google?

by X

Here’s an affiliate having problems with bridge pages.

What is a bridge page?

Basically, it’s a page in the eyes of Google that stands between the searcher and the searcher getting to what they want.  It’s an unnecessary hoop to jump through, so Google does not like it.

In short, it’s a review-style page that then requires a person to click on a link to get to a sales page which then has the order link to buy the product.

From my perspective, the problem is that we’re talking about two-steps to the move.

From Google’s perspective, the searcher should only need to take one additional step – to click on an order link – to get what they’re looking for.

Before I say anything more, please DO NOT go to the Warrior Forum or any other forum and tell people what to do or how to do it.  You pay for this information so that you have an advantage.  This poor guy lacks the information you have and therefore he is not a part of the game as a result.

That means . . . competitive advantage for us; competitive disadvantage for him and everyone else in his boat.

Do, however, read the thread.  Learn from how *close* he is, but how lacking one vital piece of information literally puts him OUT of business.  Learn from the mistaken suggestions others are making to him.  And, most of all, learn to allow people to make their mistakes because there is no benefit to your business by pointing out there err of their ways.

I know . . . cold and heartless.

Here’s what to do about, or how to keep yourself out of similar troubles.
